The Technical Conference Cycle of Funchal 2026 co-hosts the EPIA 2026. EPIA is a major European Conference in the Artificial Intelligence Area and is organised by the APPIA, the Portuguese Association of Artificial Intelligence, this year in collaboration with the University of Madeira and IKnowD.

About EPIA 2026

The purpose of the EPIA conference is to promote research in all areas of Artificial Intelligence, covering both theoretical and foundational issues as well as applications. It provides a forum for scientific exchange among researchers, engineers, and practitioners across related disciplines. The EPIA Conference on Artificial Intelligence is a well-established European conference; the 25th edition (EPIA 2026) will take place at the University of Madeira, Colégio dos Jesuítas do Funchal, Portugal, from 2–4 September 2026.
